From Nancyclotep to Protherium

Video by Nancyclotep

On 2 July 2025, at Nancy University Hospital, Nancyclotep and Protherium brought together partners, elected officials and nuclear medicine stakeholders around a common thread: moving from research to industrial production.

Held at the Institut Louis Mathieu on the Brabois hospital campus, the event traced the path from Nancyclotep, a radiochemistry and clinical trials platform at the heart of Nancy’s hospital and university environment, to Protherium. In this video (in French), four elected officials explain what the project means for their area.

Grand Est Region

François Werner, Vice-President of the Grand Est Region, explains why the project matters for the Region.

Grand Nancy

Mathieu Klein, Mayor of Nancy and President of the Métropole du Grand Nancy, talks about seeing the project grow within the Métropole.

Meurthe-et-Moselle

Chaynesse Khirouni, President of the Meurthe-et-Moselle Departmental Council, describes what the project brings to the Department.

Toul area

Alde Harmand, Mayor of Toul, highlights the impact on the Toul area, home to the first Protherium site.

Developed in partnership with the Grand Est Region, the Meurthe-et-Moselle Department, the Métropole du Grand Nancy, Nancy University Hospital and the University of Lorraine, Protherium builds on strong local roots to serve a European ambition.
