Company
Building Europe's manufacturing network for radiopharmaceutical therapies
About Protherium
Why a dedicated industrial platform?
Multiple assets are now moving from early-stage clinical development to late-stage and commercial. Yet broad adoption of the most promising nuclear medicine drugs has been held back, in large part, by isotope supply and industrial capacity.
Many of the radiopharmaceuticals expected to reach the market in the coming years are developed outside Europe, by companies now seeking reliable production within Europe. Dedicated capacity for late-stage and commercial volumes remains limited.
Protherium offers a genuinely new alternative: independent production units backed by a team that fully integrates regulatory requirements, staffing needs, production and logistics operations.
Our mission
Expand radiopharmaceutical production capacity in Europe
To build the industrial infrastructure that expands radiopharmaceutical production capacity across Europe, and to offer radiopharmaceutical companies novel manufacturing solutions, from late-stage trials to commercial supply.
Our vision
Breakthrough therapies, widely available
To make breakthrough radiopharmaceutical therapies widely available across Europe, so that more and more patients can benefit from them, faster.

European network
A model designed to be deployed across Europe
The market will need more than 30 dedicated radiopharmaceutical production sites by 2035.
Building on its Nancy site, Protherium plans to replicate its industrial model across Europe, drawing on in-house engineering expertise to design, build and commission each new facility.
Our model
A new model for radiopharmaceutical production
Each Protherium site hosts up to six ready-to-use production units, designed, built and commissioned by Protherium as self-contained facilities (hot cells, radiation shielding, processes adapted from beta to alpha emitters). Our first 7,100 m² platform is under construction in Gondreville, near Nancy, with its first two units available in April 2027.
